maddenjohn John Madden, Legendary NFL Broadcaster

John Madden, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the most honored NFL broadcaster of all time, retired from television broadcasting in 2009 after 30 years calling games for every television network. Most recently Madden was the game analyst for NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Madden has won an unprecedented 17 Emmy Awards including the Lifetime Achievement Emmy Award in 2010. Madden now serves as the Special Advisor to Commissioner Rodger Goodell of the National Football League; advising the Commissioner on matters pertaining to the game and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Prior to joining the broadcasting ranks, Madden had an outstanding career as head coach of the NFL's Oakland Raiders. Madden guided the Raiders to a regular season record of 103-32-7, leading the team to seven AFC Western Division titles and a victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl XI. In 2006, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in recognition of his distinguished coaching career. Off the field, Madden’s EA Sports video game “Madden NFL Football” is the No. 1 selling sports video game of all-time with more than 85 million copies sold since its release in 1989. In addition, Madden is the author of several New York Times best-selling books as well as a tailgating cookbook and a children’s book.


Robert B. Reich Robert B. Reich, Chancellor’s Professor of Public Policy, University of California, Berkeley; former U.S. Secretary of Labor

Robert B. Reich is one of the world's leading thinkers about work and the economy. Now Chancellor’s Professor of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley, he has served under three national administrations, most recently as Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton. He also served on President Barack Obama's economic transition advisory board. In 2008, TIME magazine named him one of the ten most successful cabinet secretaries of the past century.

Professor Reich is the author of 14 books including The Work of Nations, which has been translated into 22 languages, and the best-sellers Locked in the Cabinet and The Future of Success, which in 2002 was ranked by BusinessWeek magazine as the #2 best-selling business book. His book, Supercapitalism, published in 2007, warned of the perils of an under-regulated and over-leveraged financial system. In his 2010 best seller, Aftershock: The Next Economy and America's Future, Reich looks at where the economy is heading after the Great Recession and what to expect over the next decade. 

Professor Reich has a nationally-syndicated column and he also writes frequently for The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and The Financial Times. His commentaries are heard regularly on public radio. He is a contributor to CNBC, and a frequent panelist on ABC’s This Week and other television programs. 

In late 2003, Reich was awarded the prestigious Vaclev Havel prize, in Prague, for his original contributions to economic thinking. In 2008, The Wall Street Journal named him one of the nation's top ten thought leaders.

Cindy Reese Cindy Reese, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Operations, Oracle Corporation

Cindy Reese is Senior Vice President, Worldwide Operations at Oracle Corporation. Ms. Reese joined Oracle in 2010, when the company acquired Sun. Before that, Ms. Reese was with Sun for more than 10 years, where she was Senior Vice President for Worldwide Operations, responsible for running Sun's supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics programs, which were recognized by the industry for delivering high-quality and cost-effective product execution to Sun's global customer base. 

While at Sun, she held numerous leadership roles, including Senior Vice President for Systems Operations, Vice President for Storage Operations, Vice President for Scalable Systems Manufacturing Operations, Vice President for High End Operations, and Executive Lead for the StorageTek integration. 

Overall, Ms. Reese's career spans more than 25 years in operations, with experience in procurement, strategic materials management, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics.

rick Rick Jewell, Senior Vice President Applications Development, Oracle 

Rick Jewell is a Senior Vice President of Applications Development at Oracle Corporation. Rick has been with Oracle since 1989 and has overall responsibility for Supply Chain Applications for the company. In addition to other product areas, Rick’s responsibilities include the recent acquisitions Oracle has done in Supply Chain, specifically; G-Log transportation management, Demantra demand planning, Numetrix advanced planning and scheduling, and Agile product lifecycle management products.

Prior to Oracle, Rick spent 9 years with a large global systems integrator as well as serving as CIO for a Bay Area-based medical device manufacturing company. Rick is a graduate of Stanford University with a BA in Economics and a MS in Industrial Engineering

Jon Chorley Jon Chorley, CSO & VP, SCM Product Strategy and PVC Development, Oracle

Jon Chorley holds the combined roles of leading Oracle’s product strategy for all supply chain management products, heading development of Oracle’s Product Value Chain solutions (including Agile PLM and PIM), and as the Chief Sustainability Officer for Oracle Corporation where he drives and coordinates all initiatives, both internal and external, related to environmental sustainability. 

Mr. Chorley has more 30 years experience in the software industry in a broad set of roles including sales, implementation and development. Mr. Chorley has been with Oracle for 15 years.

Amy Aves Amy Aves, Senior Director, Global Real Estate Operations, Oracle

Amy Aves is Senior Director of the Global Real Estate Operations team. She is a 19-year Oracle veteran with responsibility for supporting the Global Real Estate organization with programs, technology, energy management and leads the Real Estate Sustainability Program.

P. J. Simmons P. J. Simmons, Chairman, Corporate Eco-Forum

 P.J. Simmons is Chairman of the Corporate Eco Forum, a preeminent network of senior Fortune 500 and Global 500 executives focused on forging “next” practice in corporate sustainability strategy. He has worked as a trusted sustainability analyst, strategist, and bridge-builder for nearly two decades, including as founder of the Wilson Center's Environmental Change and Security Program in 1994 and publisher of Washington DC’s first consumer guide to environmentally friendly businesses, The Greener Business Guide, in 1999. He has also held senior positions at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and the Clinton Global Initiative. Simmons is co-author (with Dan Esty) of The Green to Gold Business Playbook: How to Implement Sustainability Practices for Bottom-Line Results in Every Business Function. He is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
